Replaced battery but maximum capacity still the same % and showing service
Today i went to change my battery at an authorized apple reseller as it was degraded to 73% and really swollen , i went to an authorized apple store i felt very safe . i left the phone and after 2 hours i go get it and its changed i can tell because i dont see the phone swollen up beacus of the battery i open the battery settings and general to see if the part is a genuine apple product but i see the same old statistics, 73% and service needed . i went back and they told me the programming was not done properly since the iphone was locked , i unlcoked the iphone and after a few hours they called again , they told me they could not fix the problem as my iphone was recently updated to ios 17.4 and they said this version does not allow updating the maximum capacity option they told me i have 90 days warranty but i did not get a document and the place is 3 hours drive away . i am very disappointed and confused by this as the battery is not performing well and i was expecting to verify the battery was changed properly as this was an authorised apple reseller
