Proper Connection for Apple TV

I am experiencing a sporadic loss of sound when starting my Apple TV 4K. The suspects are, in order:

Sony Bravia XR 55X90K

B&W Panorama 3

Apple TV 4K

The AppleTV is connected to the 4K 120hz HDMI port on the TV.

The Panorama 3 is connected via the eARC/ARC

4K 120hz HDMI port on the TV.

I believe the problem could be in my connection. At times the volume “slider” does not show on the tv.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Regards

First check the Apple TV's HDMI cable and connection to ensure that is not the problem. Also, you can unplug the Apple TV from its power source for 2-3 minutes then plug it back in and test. If these fail, then chances are you may have a weak Wi-Fi signal in the room the Apple TV is in. You can a tool such as itStumbler to test your signal strength.
