WiFi unstable after iOS 17.3.1 update

Since the update, my iPhone 13 constantly disconnects and reconnects to wifi unless I sit right next to the router. All other devices on the network work fine, and this phone worked fine before the update.

So I went to a bunch of places to check if this is somehow an issue related to my network. Same problem.

Do you have VPN installed, whether you are using it or not? If you do, go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN and delete your VPN profile.

THANK YOU!! I have been trying to troubleshoot my father’s iPhone 15 which hasn’t been connecting to WiFi since the latest software update. Verizon even sent him a new phone after they couldn’t resolve the issue in store. I was helping him set up the new phone tonight and the issue persisted after getting the new phone up and running. I came across your response and noticed that the VPN kept flickering. Lo and behold, he had a McAfee Safe Browsing app installed, which had created a VPN unbeknownst to him. Deleted the VPN and the app and everything is back to normal.
