I bought an iRig Pre HD. It works with my PC but not with my iPhone 12 pro max. My iOS is 17.3.1

Contact whoever manufacturers this and ask if it is compatible with iPhone. What is compatible with a computer doesn't mean it is compatible with iPhone.
I returned the Pre HD and bought the iRig Pro. It worked immediately.
See my latest comment. I returned it and bought the iRig Pro version. It does more than I needed it to do and cost about $50 more but it worked immediately.
It was made for an iPhone but I may need a newer model. I merely connected to my computer to be sure it was functional. Works with computers too in general.

So do you think it's a firmware issue with the iRig? I don't want to have to buy the pro version as I bought the pre HD in 2020
