How do I disable security delay on my iPhone?

I toggled on the Stolen Device Protection feature on my iPhone and was scared cos I couldn’t get turn it off by then I went to settings > Face ID and passcode > stolen device protection and then clicked it and was told cos I turned it on I had to wait for an hour for me to be able to turn it off and I did wait for an hour and immediately the countdown reached zero it automatically asked me for my Face ID and it turned off. So don’t be scared guys, you just have to wait for the countdown to reach zero and it will be sorted.
also going around in circles. I had a iPhone 8 Plus before my current (14) and I think I had a better experience with that then thing. Siri even worked better. Payed 1k for a more irritating phone.
"Face ID & Passcode" is not an available option

In my colleagues case, no system notification came, next morning we tried again and it suddenly worked

There’s some consensus that this still-new functionally still has some “maturing” to do.
FYI.. I have not received any notification. I tried 4 or 5 times. In addition, it recognizes my face. That should immediately negate the delay. You know it's me. You just scanned my face.
This app is mind numbing - good grief! So is the face too close one.

I need to turn off my stolen device part. It doesn’t recognise my face and I can’t sign in.
Why do I have to wait for an hour to make a new pass?
Same reason that you need to have a credit card on file with Apple, even if you only plan to download "free" apps.
