disk led flash OS ventura

Where can I find a small application or one that is in the menu?

They do NOT show disk usage, but rather the activity of the disk every second,

like that little light that flashes as the disk writes or reads.

I would like to have it on the menu bar.

I use Ventura and I'm about to switch to Sonoma.

External Disc Icons Appearing on screen When I plug in my USB hub with my partitioned external disc connected, the disc partition icons appear both on my screen and on the HD left side banner (where they should be). This is a recent glitch after an upgrade. Previously the discs only appeared in the HD side banner. Dragging an onscreen icon into the trash to disappear it ejects the partition. Not a desired effect! Icon(s) should appear in the HD side banner only. Fix appreciated. Thanks!

Disconnect external peripherals prior to installing Monterey Has anyone tried disconnecting everything except the keyboard and mouse, installing Monterey, and then re-installing all the external devices one at a time?

"Install macOS Monterey" Ghost in Launchpad Does anyone know how to get rid to the "Install macOS Monterey" ghost icon left behind in Launchpad after a successful upgrade? It does nothing when clicked, and I imagine benign, but I don't really want it there because I'm, well, like Sheldon.
