It sound like someone is trying to access your account or scam you.

Don't click on any links in the message. Instead I'd consider blocking and reporting the message. The following Apple support link provides the directions to do this: Block, filter, and report messages on iPhone - Apple Support

I would also consider changing the iPhones password. The following APPLE support link will guide you through the steps: Set a passcode on iPhone - Apple Support

Have you clicked on allow to reset the password? It looks like you tried to sign into one of the sync devices with the wrong information. If you don't own all the devices anymore then for security reasons I would change the password.

Before changing your password I would go in and remove any synced devices you don't recognize from your account.

  1. Go to iCloud.com
  2. Sign in to your account
  3. Click Find My iPhone
  4. Click All Devices
  5. Select the device you want to remove
  6. Click Remove This Device
