Bose Companion 5 speakers not working with your Mac Studio, I have found the solution!

Don't plug your USB from your Bose Companion 5 speakers directly into the Mac Studio USB. Purchase a USB port that you can plug into your Mac Studio. The plug your Bose Companion 5 speakers into the USB port and what it does is filters the connection. I have not had a problem with my Bose Companion 5 speakers since I have done this. They work great!

The selected device has no output controls Hello everyone I have MacBook pro 16" M1 Pro 16 GB - 2TB version 12.5.1 and I using Bose companion 5 speaker. From 6 months now the companion is connected to the Mac using USB C adapter and working perfectly. The last 2 weeks I can see the Bose USB Audio in output Audio preferences but cannot ear any sound and get this message : The selected device has no output controls Any advice about this issue ? Bose mini soundlink I have a MacBook Pro with MacOS Ventura 13.4. Despite pairing easily via Bluetooth with Bose Flex Soundlink (Version 3.0.1) the audio still come from inbuilt system. Thank you in advance.
