Cannot link AirTag to right AppleID

When I try to link an additional AirTag to my account, it continuously prompts me to update my AppleID settings, however it brings to my mothers appleid sign-in scree (which I've never logged into on any of my devices, so don't know how/why it wants me to use her account). It will not allow or acknowledge my personal AppleID which everything else is linked to. It will only allow me to resent my password, but not enter the account/go any further, just in a loop of resetting the password.

The reason it wants you to use her account is because it is already associated with it. She would have to remove this tag from here Apple ID account before you can associate it with yours.

In addition, the minimum iOS version required to pair a tag to an iPhone to is: 14.5
