Apple Watch heart rate not showing on peloton

I found a fix on pelobuddy.com:

On the watch go to settings-workout-detect gym equipment.

Turn off detect gym equipment

Force restart watch by pressing crown and side button on watch until Apple logo appears.

Turn detect gym equipment back on in the Apple Watch settings.

That fixed the problem for me.

New iphone software update, new apple watch software update, reset peloton & it's all back.

I had the same problem and uninstalled/reinstalled the Peloton app on my phone and re-setup my Apple Watch through the Peloton app. My Peloton Bike also had an update available this AM and after applying that, heart rate monitoring was back to normal. Can’t say for sure which fixed it but glad it’s working!

My heart rate will not show up on certain peloton when I am traveling but it will show up after a reboot of both watch and peloton on my home peloton. Which is the newer version of peloton.

I just checked in with Peloton and they are investigating this issue. "We are investigating the issue and the Team dedicated to it (Software and Engineering) is currently working on a fix which will be rolled out as soon as possible."

Some problem for me. I see the link above that Peloton is aware of the problem and they have a text message subscription for updates. It's been going on for 6 days now for me.

I too am having the same issue. I contacted Peloton support who ran through a few things to try, non of which worked :(

They have raised it with their technical department who aim to get back to me within 72 hours...

Same issue. Noticed it yesterday which was my first ride since Monday, March 11th. No problems on the 11th, if that helps with timeline.

I didn't delete re-install apps yet. But did restart everything to no avail.

In the settings under the monitoring section, it shows my Apple Watch is connected to the peloton. And the heart rate window pops up. But it doesn't display anything. I stopped my ride short due to frustration and came to my computer and found this thread.

I made sure my watch, phone and bike were up to date. Deleted app on watch and phone, reinstalled and NOTHING.

I do have a rower which I haven’t tried using since this issue. Will try later and see how it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have only seen my heart rate displayed for cycle classes and NO OTHERS since January.

I have had contact with Peloton via email at least a dozen times

Tried to reboot

Did factory reset

Installed a new screen

Bought a new heart rate monitor

Updated software

NOTHING! Heart rate only displays for cycle classes and nothing else

I’ve been having an major issue connecting my Apple Watch Series 7 to my Pelaton Bike Plus for a few weeks heart rate shows in watch and is connected via Bluetooth to my bike but heart rate isn’t showing on bike only on my watch, everything was fine in February seems like a bad update that was pushed out, Apple seriously need to create a fox for this issue asap especially if this was caused by a bad update.

I've been having the same problem for a couple of days. Today I see there is an update for the Peloton app. I just installed it. Don't know if it fixes the problem... we will see tomorrow.

I’m still having the same issue even after deleting the Peleton app on my phone and watch and reinstalling. Also checked the health app to make sure everything is set to share data, still no luck.
