Front camera showing black screen iOS 17.4

My front facing camera on iPad 9th generation is showing me a black screen and not working properly at all. ☹️ I need the front camera for many things. I don’t want to be doing a factory reset because it would take far too long to install everything back on the iPad. Please help and reply
