Broken back glass with no sign of contact

Hi all, as experienced by many iPhone users my back glass broke.

Yet on my phone there are no sings of contact. None of the sides have dents or even a scratch.

The crack seems to start on the right downside of the cameras If you check in the second photo it is fully covered even when the lens protector is open.

Did anyone experience something similar? I strongly believe that this should be covered by warranty don't you think?

I see and there is a clear indication of an impact. A case does NOT mean a phone when dropped can't break. I know you came here hoping we'd tell you you have a valid warranty claim. You simply don't. The phone was dropped and it broke and you'll be responsible for paying for it to be fixed.

We can't help you here. You need to show it to Apple yourself. But if you think they'll agree the phone doesn't show signs of an impact, you're going to be greatly disappointed, when it clearly does.

Let me zoom in so you can see better before typing.

The crack clearly starts at the end of the cameras a place that is covered by the phone case.

The central point is the epicenter of the breakage. From this focal point, cracks extend across the glass surface, following paths of least resistance. And this focal point if you care to see on the second picture was covered by the case even when the camera protector was open
