Why is the iCloud Storage usability and pricing so unfair?

It seems like the whole pricing scheme of iCloud is designed to really annoy you and make you pay more. If you have an iPhone, you probably have run out of storage for your backups and have been basically forced to pay for storage, otherwise your iPhone won't back up. These are the major downfalls of the iCloud Storage usability and pricing scheme:

  1. Paying for storage doesn't necessarily mean your iPhone photos will safely back up. For example, with Google Photos, media is basically dumped on the cloud even if you erase them from your device. Google Photos is works more as a safe backup, you know that no matter if the image has been erased you can always find it on the cloud. However, with iCloud, photos you delete on your device will also be erased on the cloud. So there is no real backup. And I know many people have done this mistake and lost many photos in the process. So the only alternative is to turn off iCloud sync and save your photos on the backup, however they will not be accessible on the cloud gallery and will be limited to your device storage. So basically having a 2TB storage on the cloud doesn't really make any sense if your device is only 256GB.
  2. Trying to clean up your galleries from unwanted media or photos is extremely painful. Apple has not really provided any smart solution to really sort your unwanted media, large files you don't need or photos you want to sort out to delete. There is no tool to sort media on iCloud, meaning that your archive will just grow overtime, requiring you to upgrade eventually. That is why I have been basically forced to upgrade to the 2TB plan which I don't really need.
  3. The iCloud storage pricing scheme is just unfair and designed to punish you. The free 5GB plan is useless, the 50GB is reasonable at $0,99 but still useless with the constant device storage capacity increasing overtime, and the huge gap between the 200GB option at $2,99 and the 2TB plan at $10 is just absurd!!! Why haven't they thought about just making a 300GB, 400GB, 500GB option and so on? I do not need 2TB I just need 250GB, but if I want everything to work I have to pay 3X more with a 10X storage I do not need!!

The whole iCloud Storage has been designed to be a real cash grab. It is designed to annoy you and make you pay to overcome all they absurd limitations they have created.

Is there anyone out there that has had this same experience?
