iPhone remote keyboard for Apple TV disappears before I am done typing in YouTube search

Same here and this hasn’t been fixed by apple until now…

If it happens only for the YouTube app, why do you think it is something that Apple can or should fix? Then it seems more likely that the cause of the interruption is in the way that YouTube developers programmed their app. How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

I’ve seen this is going on for a while now…can someone from Apple take notice of this and fix it? This is so horrible no one even responds to these bugs listed…

Same here, it is pretty irritating. What I’ve found is if you type really slowly on your iPhone, it will stop doing the quick vibrate/keyboard disappears. I’m wondering if it’s some overly sensitive touch response when you’re typing and your finger just slightly misses the actual onscreen key. Glad this isn’t just me.

Thanks for the info, will try to reach out to YouTube also. I think any app developer will be using an under laying framework provided by the device manufacturer to build on any functionality so in this case I’m not sure how much override one has and if the problem is in the framework or on the app developer code side…anyway I’ll reach out to YouTube and hopefully get some answers
