Charging issue through anker usb-c hub

I have recently bought a USB hub five in one port of anker. The issue is that when the hub is connected to my MacBook M1air and the charger brick provided with it, it shows that the battery is not charging but the power source is the power adapter. I have tried to check my power so whether it is properly connected or not and also check the port is clean or not but everything is good. I cannot figure out what's the problem. The power adapter I am using is about 30w. And the hub I am using is anchored, 332 USB-C hub (5-in-1).

I would be very thankful for your solutions to this issue.

Being curious, I just tried my Anker 7-in-1 USB hub. Very similar to the Anker 5-in-1 you have. Both of these hubs have a "PD" in port to connect a power adapter to. In my case I using it with a 2020 MacBook Pro and using the 61W USB-C power adapter that came with that laptop from Apple.

Depending on your exact MacBook Air model, which I'm assuming is a 2022 or later model, came with a 30W USB-C adapter and is the one you are referring to here ... correct?

According to the Anker specs, the issue may be that you need a larger (more wattage) adapter:

Powerful USB C Hub Pass-Through Charging: Charge devices with up to 85W pass-through power; optimal with a 45W charger for full iPad charging capabilities.

However, it could just be that this particular Anker hub is defective.

I've read on reddit that the Anker 332 USB-C hub draws power when you charge via power delivery USB-C port, that's why it shows only 15 watts.
