Just bought an iPhone 15 pro and found that it doesn’t work with my 2021 Camry Apple Play. I tried the same usb-A to usb-c cable that used with my old iPhone 13 to both my Car and my laptop both are having the save problem not recognizing the device. Very disappointing, I wouldn’t buy it if I know this issue earlier 🤔

Question: The iPhone 13 has a lighting port. The iPhone 15 Pro has a USB-C port. You could not have used the same USB-A to USB-C cable with your iPhone 13 and your iPhone 15.
Have you tried another cable with your iPhone 15 Pro and your Car? (USB-A to plug into the car and USB-C to plug into the iPhone).

Forget about the converter cable, even the usb-c cable from Apple connecting directly to my Camry usb-c port shows the incompatible problem😤 FYI, my Camry has one of each usb-A and usb-c. I’ve used only usb-A with my old iPhone 13 and now my new iPhone 15 pro isn’t compatible with my another usb-c port.

As noted above, that’s physically impossible since the 13 and 15Pro have different connectors.
My mistake, the usb-A to lightning was the cable for iPhone 13 while the iPhone 15 I used usb-A to usb-cable.
Yes, I also tried with the Apple usb-c cable that came with the phone by connecting it directly to my Camry usb-c port and it said unrecognized device.
