IPhone 13 very slow after IOS17.4 update

Try a Force Restart. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support Also check Settings>Battery>Battery Health>Maximum Capacity. What percentage do you see there?

The only other suggestion that I would have is if it has to do with something using the Internet, check your speeds. Otherwise, I wouldn't know of any other ideas. The Force Restart should have cleared everything up and started again, so no cache, etc., and with 53GB of space, that is not an issue.

I recently updated to 17.5.1 and the very next day my Iphone 13 would get hot and battery would drain fast. Within half day. At the moment it is down 10% after signing in this morning and looking through the comments (less than 5 mins). I spoke with Apple and have been for 3 weeks to resolve the issue but apparently they’re not “slowing down phones” like they were caught doing in the past. I think since share price is down that they are. I will file a complaint with our provincial and federal regulators to see if that will help. Judging by the community complaints, this is widespread

Same here - pathetically slow. It looks like it’s doing something with photos so hopefully it gets better once that stops. So tired of Apple breaking older products

I have de same problem, all is very slow. Apple Music work during 5 minutes and crash every time. The worst update I've ever see on an IPhone :(

Same here! I try to take a photo and it just turns black and closes out. I have plenty of storage available.

iPhone sales are down, so it’s Apple’s way of persuading everyone to upgrade to the latest iPhone.
