If I move from my family room when on a call the person I am talking to can no longer hear me. I have my phone on wifi calling and it doesn't help. I have a Tesla in the garage . Could this be the problem?

I am not sure whether the Tesla in the garage has anything to do with what you are experiencing UNLESS when you move out of your Family Room and closer to your Tesla, then the call may be transferred to your car via Bluetooth. This will only happen if your car has Bluetooth active while it is in the garage.
When this happens again and while the call is active, then open Settings on your iPhone ➡️ Bluetooth and check to see whether your iPhone is connected to your in the Bluetooth list of devices.
