iPhone 11 microphone issue after moving 3 miles from old home

I've moved 3 miles from my old home and my iphone 11 can make and receive calls but the other person cannot hear me most of the time. And so far, there is one place in the home where I can get some connection but the call will drop every time. The spot is standing next to my kitchen window, as close as possible.

I've read other posts with the same issue and one of the suggestions is to turn off wifi calling. I do not have an unlimited data package so I'm concerned that if I turn off wifi calling, I'll blow past my usage limit. It this an accurate concern?

I am concerned because I could NOT get a call through to 911 and none of my family members can get ahold of me.

Thank you,

Michelle

Data is generally billed separately from standard voice calls. FaceTime calls would be billed as data.

Usually, WiFi calling helps if you have poor reception in your house. However, it's certainly worth trying.

You might also want to try resetting your network settings. Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will lose your saved wifi passwords buy nothing else.
