Stop Norton subscription renewal notice from hijacking my screen!

I unfortunately purchased a Norton 360 subscription. It has done absolutely nothing for me. But the worst part is the popup notices to renew that keep coming up. I now have 2 days left on my subscription and the message is permanently on my desktop. I tried contacting Norton a few months ago and they gave me an entire run around and ultimately changed nothing. (this company has created a terrible business model). I have looked all around the web and it seems like there is no clear and simple answer. It almost feels like someone or something (probably at Norton) removes, hides, and/or destroys anything or anyone that has an answer.

I am running a 2017 MacBook Pro; Ventura 13.6.3. Does anyone have an actual method to permanently remove these popups. And please, do not point me to Norton's website, their answers do not work and are a waste of time.

Thanks very much!

So if you aren't going to use the Norton Uninstaller, you can boot in Safe Mode, then go to Applications and drag the Norton app to the trash. Empty the trash. Boot normally. See if the nag screen is gone.

You WILL have leftover bits and pieces from Norton, but you're adamant you won't use the Norton uninstaller, so that's the best you can do without deleting all of those leftovers manually.

The first step in resolving this is to uninstall Norton 360. Macs simply don't need anti virus programs, and they almost always create more issues than they portend to prevent. Please use Norton's uninstaller or their procedure to rid your Mac of everything...odds are simply dragging the app to the trash won't rid your Mac of everything.

This is how Norton says to uninstall it: Uninstall Norton Product
