How to copy and paste on notes on icloud

Ok, so story time.

My notes on my IPad wasn’t working so I was forced to delete it losing all of my notes. So now I'm order for me to make my birthday list, I’m forced to use cloud.com to copy and paste. Only to find I can’t copy and paste on the site! I'm told there should be an edit button, that there should be something in setting. I can’t figure it out. Nothing is working! Help me out here! I'm so lost!

I had some pretty important information on the notes which I need to get back ASAP. When I go onto the notes app, there’s always a loading circle beside how many notes I have, but never amounts to anything. Looking for a solution to get my missing notes back. Thank you

How do I move notes from “on my iphone” to iCloud? I have an iPhone 14 iOS 17.5.1 I recently realized that my notes app is only syncing about 40 of my 940 notes. I did some searching on the forum here and found one little tidbit indicating that I needed to have iCloud selected as the default account. I changed that setting. However, there doesn’t appear to be any way to move all those notes to the iCloud account. When I click select notes, move all the only option that appears is a new folder in the same “on my iPhone” account. Nothing is clickable in the iCloud account folder. Is there an easy solution?

iCloud Notes Web-Only Version Not Saving Any Changes or New Notes To begin, I do not have an iDevice of any kind. I have an Android phone and use Windows PCs or chromebooks. I was shared into an iCloud Note by an iPhone user to collaborate on, and created a Web-Only iCloud account to access and edit the note. No matter which device or browser I sign into the note from, none of my changes or edits to the Note save. I can edit the Note and see the last edited time change, and I can even create new Notes, but once I leave the page or refresh or look at the Note from a different browser, none of my changes or new Notes are saved at all. My collaborator who owns the note also can't see any of my changes. They only stay locally for as long as icloud.com is open. As an Android user who has always avoided iDevices, this isn't a good look for the Apple ecosystem, especially when Google's similar services (Keep, Docs, etc.) are virtually seamless with none of these issues. Help! Any suggestions so that my Note edits can actually be saved?
