iphone lightning headphone adapter no longer working

For several months, all of my devices can no longer use the lightning to headphone adapter. The devices include updated iPhone 11, 13 & an iPad. I have 3 OEM Apple adapters (the ones that used to come with the phones) and 3 3rd party adapters. All of these combinations worked for several years until a few months ago. They either do nothing, or work for a minute then say not supported. Again, all devices updated and it happens with all combinations of devices & adapters. Is there an updated adapter to get? Anyone else having this issue? If so, was it solved? TIA!
