I got myself a new iPhone 11 with the adapter and everything and for some reason it doesn’t work. I even looked in Headphone Settings and there is literally no options for adapters. What do I even do? The adapter port is clean, I’ve tried other adapters, plus my iPhone is up to date and all. Looked everywhere online and yet I find nothing relating to this issue. any Help?
I have specified that it’s a lightning adapter to use any of my headphones. I’m looking for the option to use my headphones. I don’t know why any of the two adapters I have won’t work. I plug them in, sound doesn’t come out the headphones, they come out my phone speaker. I check a tutorial to see how to fix it, it tells me to go to headphone safety (like in the photo I have posted) and I should see “lightning adapters” under “reduce loud soundbut if you look at the picture I posted, you can see that I don’t have the “lightning adapter” option.
it was like that before I updated my phone and after updating it. All I want is to listen to music with my headphones.

When plugging in a compatible lighting adapter with headphones connected to it, the "Lighting Adapters", option should pop up in the Headphone Safety section of Settings. If you just plug in the adapter without any headphones connected to it, the option will not appear.
The Audio widget in Control center should also show a headphone icon to indicate headphones are plugged in the using the adapter with connected headphones. If that does not show up either, it may indicate an issue with the adapters you are using.

What kind of options. are you looking for?
Why do you thing there should be an option for the adapter?
Why can't you just use the whatever adapter you bough directly? Just plug it in?

first of all, why are you being rude to them? second, i think they’re looking for this option called Lightning Adapter. i cant find this option on my iPhone 12 Pro, too.

You should just plug the headphones into the adapter and plug the lightning connected into your phone. Then everything should play through the headphones
I’ve already done that and it doesn’t even work. This is the main problem. I can’t get sound to play out of my headphones with any adapter
