My iPhone 15 doesn’t show full screen on my gaming monitor.
My PC broke a few days ago and I wanted to play some games. I grabbed an adapter (Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter) and plugged my phone (iPhone 15) into my Dell gaming monitor. I soon realized that it doesn’t show full screen in portrait or landscape mode. In portrait mode there are still bezels on the top and in landscape mode it doesn’t extend to both edges of the monitor. Now there are annoying black bezels all around my display (not just the normal ones on the top and bottom, but they are on every side). I tried it on my dad’s Apple Studio Display and it worked fullscreen just fine with no issues. Is this a settings issue or is it just Apple trying to convince us to buy their Studio Display? It also could be because the monitor is curved 🤷♂️
