You probably don't. Apple describes storage in terms of "available" which actually means "used". Your hard drive is completely full. You will need to look for large files you can delete. If you want to keep them, you can copy them to an external hard drive. Do not attempt to delete any files in any hidden directories. Then, you'll have to wait a day or so for the operating system to completely clean up the deleted files. Don't stop until you have at least 200 GB of free stores as described in Disk Utility.

Have you used an apps to "clean" or "tune up" your Mac recently? If so, which one(s)?

I've never seen a hard drive test failure like that. In addition to being full, your hard drive might also be failing.
