Delay in charging in iphone

I have been facing a delay in charging after i connect apple 20W charger to my iphone 14 almost 5months old. After i connect the charger it will take nearly 5-10 sec to vibrate and show charging. Need to know why

A damaged cable or faulty adapter can cause slow charging or connection issues. Try using a different cable and adapter to see if the problem persists.
