MacBook Pro unable to connect to the internet
This morning, got onto the internet and did some research with my MacBook pro. I opened up the MacBook this afternoon and I can't access the internet. I click the WiFi area at the top right of my screen to see how many "bars" are showing and it tells me I have "No Internet Connection". It also tells me that my Known Network is correct. I click on my network and I get a message that "Your Mac successfully joined the Wi-Fi network, but cannot reach the internet" and "if this is your Wi-Fi network, try restarting the modem and router, or contact your ISP"
Now, since I am writing this on my iMac, I know that the internet is up. Since it is up, I figured why restart the modem and router? I did try, two times, shutting down the MacBook and bringing it back up, but that didn't change anything. Also, both the iMac and MacBook are in the same area and not at different ends of the house. I don't know what to do - help!
