MBP 2017 Random Screen Flicker Issue

Hi!

My MBP 13' 2017 has random vertical lines flickering on my screen. It just showed up last night from regular usage. The device has no damage and is working like new aside from this issue.

I tried PRAM, SMC, Diagnostic tool, Recovery to no avail.

Verticle lines are typically a sign the inverter cable or board got damaged.

may cover it, if there are no signs of physical damage and there is program. Otherwise bring it to an authorized serivce provider and ask them what it would cost to repair.

You may just find getting a comparable used or refurbished Mac of the same age is better, since you can only upgrade that Mac to Ventura.

You might also find, it is easier just to buy an external display and use that, as long as the issue has not spread to the graphics chip.
