What is ideal battery health for iPhone after 6 months?

Is it normal to loose 13 percent of your battery capacity in 6 months. Before I installed IOS 17 back in September of last year my battery capacity was at 98 percent, since installing IOS 17 and latest updates my battery capacity has dropped to 85 percent. Anyone else had the same issue. I purchased iPhone from Apple back in January 2023.

The measure of battery health deterioration/drainage is subjective and can vary depending on individual usage patterns. There is no universal standard to determine whether the battery health deterioration/drainage is normal or abnormal because it heavily relies on how the battery is used and maintained.

Personally I think there is a problem with IOS17. I purchased my iPhone back in Jan 2023 and until September 2023 before I installed IOS17 my battery capacity was at 98 percent, a 2 percent loss over a 8 month period, yet once I installed IOS17 I have lost 13 percent over a over 6 month period. I do NOT use my iPhone any differently compared to both IOS16 and IOS17. Personally I think Apple should replace my battery for free, when you spend £1199 on a iPhone you expect a quality product not a sub standard one.
