MacBook asking for a PIN to unlock screen

I'm on MacOS Catalina, upgraded automatically to 10.15.7 recently. After signed in with usual password, eventually it will lock the screen due to unactivity. Before that, I was never asked for PIN to unlock the screen.now it does. I have never set up any pin for my MB.

How to disable this feature?

Does anyone know how or where we can get the PIN? thanks.
