Go button in finder

I migrated a bunch of videos from PC to MacBook Pro this morning. They went into a movies folder. Now I can’t find the folder. Instructions say to select go>home in Finder. There is no “go” of any kind to select in finder. What am I missing?

Not sure I get it. "Home " is considered your User folder.

In the Menu bar Finder you see=> File Edit View Go Window Help

This is how you use the complete path to navigate to a file/folder using the Go, your example for the movie folder...

Finder >Go>Go To Folder copy and paste:

~/Movies

When I open finder there is nothing to click that says go.

There is no little house icon. I have options to choose AirDrop, Recents, Applications, Desktop, Documents, and Downloads. There are also iCloud options and a bunch of different color tag options. That is it. I’m new to Mac and this is my first one so I know I’m missing something.

your original question: "Instructions say to select go>home in Finder."

Open your Finder Settings and you can customize the Sidebar...
