i am not able to screem mirror my macbook pro 14" M1 pro Chip on my Ipad 8th generation

both the MacBook Pro and the iPad are updated to the latest version of OS, macOS sonoma 14.4.1 for MacBook and 17.4.1 for iPad. both are connected to the same Wifi and both are in 10 meters range for bluetooth. and both are registered with the same Apple ID and handoff is also turned on. however the iPad isn't showing in the displays in settings.

even when I connect the MacBook Pro and the iPad using a cable. the iPad doesn't appear in screen mirroring settings on my MacBook Pro.

I hope you can help me as soon as possible as I am in real need for that
