The ANC in my AirPods Pro stopped functioning after I left it inside my vehicle at 40c for a few hours….i was hearing a buzzing noise in ANC mode….
after around a month ANC mode is functioning again though adaptive mode is not….

Unfortunately, if they were left in a vehicle at 40º for an extended period of time, it's likely they suffered some damage. Best shot is to call Apple or visit a Genius Bar to get them looked at.
