HDMI-CEC is not working with Apple TV 4K

To control your Apple TV with HDMI / TV remote

Enable CEC on your TV (INPUT settings) & Apple TV (Remotes and Devices)
Change HDMI mode to HDMI 2.1 (supports eARC + 4K UHD) from TV’s HDMI settings
Start using TV remote on your Apple TV

Apple TV HDMI CONTROL not working A couple days ago I updated to TVos 18. I have a Sony A90j and a Marantz 6015 that all used to work great with CEC controls, but now it’s a disaster. The Apple TV remote will turn the TV off, but that’s the extent of control. It will not turn it back on, will not control volume, and will not do ANYTHING with the Marantz. I have the Apple TV 4K most recent unit plugged into HDMI 4 of my TV; and the Marantz plugged in to the eARC HDMI 3 of the TV. Not very happy about this.

how to set up apple tv, tv, soundbar I have an LG 4K tv with eARC I have a Bose 600 sound bar with one eARC HDMI port I have an Apple TV 4K I’ve been told to connect the Apple TV to the non eARC HDMI port on the LG TV and to connect the Bose sound bar eARC HDMI port to the eARC HDMI port on the LG TV. This seems to work but I have issues with turning everything off using the Apple TV remote. It’s like playing whack-a-mole. One of the three turns off and the others turn on. I have simplink-CEC on in TV settings.

Apple TV 4K stopped working on 4k content and audio on remote after update 16.5 My Apple TV 4K after update to the the TVos 16.5 the ability to control de audio from the apple tv remote of the sound system stopped working, now i only can control the sound with the remote of the system, the light on the apple tv still works but no capacity to control the audio. The other issue, is that the options of 4k resolutions with Dolby Vision or even with HDR were gone, even the check HDMI Connection is gone. Before the update i could control the audio with the Apple TV Remote, and the TV displayed the content according to the content selected, my tv support both of the standards and the cable is capable of speeds of 8k, these kind of issues were not a problem in the TVos 16.4 but on the TVos 16.5 but now they are, because i am limited by the update, can someone help me?
