IMAP incoming mail server - MAIL won't connect
Cox cable is requiring that we migrate our emails to Yahoo email using our same email addresses and passwords. Yahoo is now handling all the email for Cox. I deleted the Cox email box and added Yahoo but now MAIL will not connect . I went to mail settings accounts and tried to change some things. but It only gives me an option to edit the SMTP server list which is the Outgoing mail server.... It doesn't give me any option for changing the IMAP or incoming mail server. When I tried to send an email I got an error message saying it could not send the message. It gave me an option for the mail connection doctor and I ran that and when I looked at the log details it looked like it was still trying to use the old cox mail server.
I successfully made the switch on my iPhone just fine. But, for some reason, the Macbook Air just doesn't want to connect.
I don't know what else to do. Can you please advise? Thank you !
