when I call person can hear me I can't hear them for aprox 10 seconds then sometimes my sound cuts out during call

I can't hear the other person but they can hear me my the sound usually starts working after 10-30 seconds but sometimes disconects

Why can't the other person hear me during calls on my iPhone 15 with iOS 18.3.2? After making or receiving a call, the person on the other end starts saying "Are you there? I can't hear you." My sound drops out during calls iPhone8 i have an iPhone8. i can make standard calls however, at some point during the call, the other person all of a sudden can’t hear me. This may be just for a few seconds or may continue and I have to hang up and call back. If I call using WhatsApp Messenger Snapchat etc the other person cannot hear me at all so I can’t use these apps. The problem started about 3 weeks ago. Any ideas?
