Ipad to tv through hdmi cable not working

I've ipad 8th gen. I'd recently ipad os 17.4 update. Now, ipad screen doesn't project through hdmi cable to a projector or a tv. It's working fine earlier.

iPad Pro USB-C to HDMI not working after iOS 26.2 I have used the original apple USB-C to HDMI for screen mirroring to my TV for years. After the update to iOS 26.2 this does not work anymore. iPad Pro 4th gen. Updated to iOS 26.2 I have a second iPad Air 13 inch (M2) with iOS 18.6.2 which runs currently fine to the same TV using same adaptor. Please advice

iPadOS 17.4.1 is current. If you have not already updated to this version, you should do so - as the update includes both functional fixes and essential security updates.
