Latest and Current book in Reading Now not updated on Books

I have a widget for the wattpad and apple books app. But both don’t work properly now. My books widget should show three books, the latest and currents ones I am reading. Yet all it shows is some white black cover and upto 99% finished and the other two is just blank. No matter how many times I opened the app to read, it still shows no updates. And the wattpad widegt has been changed for a like a month or so now, cause it cuts half the stuff that should be shown on the widget. I don’t know if this is an update but if it is, it looks glitched… please fix this!!!
