I can't scan barcode on my drivers license

I have been sent a link from capitol one for a verification process and through the link I have to take a picture of my id that automatically captures the front with no problem. When I flip the drivers license for the barcode to be scanned. It won't scan the barcode. I have a iPhone 13. Can you please tell me what I have to do to fix this problem it is the only way for me to verify my identity in order to proceed with the application process.
