Short commands just gone :-(

I have an MacPro Tower early 2008 running El Capitan. I have tried everthing possible to get my Short commands working again but they are just gone, from one day to the other. It is so frustrating because my workflow is terrible now. I have deleted third party software like " Karabiner " and it didnt work. I have done a PRAM reset, didnt worked. I have done everthing you guys would see as an easy fix but it doesnt solved my problem. My short commands were

1.ctrl. plus C for copy.

2.ctrl. plus V for paste.

I have tried to use cmd plus C for copy....not working

I have tried alt plus C for copy....not working

I have tried to reset all my older commands and shortcuts....not workin

There is an app called " keyboard shortcuts " and I have tried to create new shortcuts and commands, does not work :-( I am so frustrated and my workflow is terrible....please help me 🙏🙏🙏🙏
