How do I remove a No SIM eSIM?

How do I get rid of this? It's awful. I don't want every dead sim I ever used appearing here. It seems like a very bad bug. There is no obvious way to remove.

"Reset network settings" is not an option. I can't lose all my WiFi network passwords just because there is a bug with eSIMS.

Apple's support docs as well as Airalo support were worthless.

The correct answer is you have to click on it the dead sim and select "update contacts" then it disappears.
