Apple TV+ App - Samsung TV

I have a free 6 month pass to Apple TV+ which I have been using on the Apple TV+ app on my Samsung TV. When opening the app yesterday it had logged out and now I can't seem to log back in. I still have the email with the subscription details but when I try to change the password on anything apple related it tells me the email that I used for the subscription is not valid or recognised, how do I recover my details for Apple TV +, any help greatly appreciated.

  1. Try signing in on appleid.apple.com to verify your account and its password.
  2. If you canceled an (extended) free trial subscription, then access to the service will expire immediately, and the remainder will be forfeited.
  3. If your Apple ID is locked or disabled (e.g. from repeated tries with a wrong password), then you would need assistance from the Apple Support staff to unlock or enable the account again.
  4. If the issue is that the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on Samsung TV doesn’t have a successful connection with the remote servers, then try Samsung TV troubleshooting:

Try resetting the Apple TV app, then sign in again. Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support

If you still get the misbehavior on the smart TV after that, then consider these troubleshooting steps from Samsung Support: What to do if an app is not working on Samsung TV - Samsung Support
1. Cold reboot the TV,
2. Update the TV system software, if available,
3. Delete and reinstall the misbehaving app (if deletion is supported for that app),
4. Reset the ‘Smart Hub’ (like a factory reset for the apps part of the TV).

If you need further assistance after that, please contact Apple Support.
