"I prefer Command-Control-1 to show or hide the browser and sidebar :-)"
Handy! I will note this!
"The black rectangle is NOT the Event Viewer, it is the 360º part of the main Viewer. "
Interesting. How do you know this? I've never played with 360, and I'm pretty sure I got it to go away with Ctrl-Cmd-3, which is apparently the Event Viewer. But I'm not sure how to go back to how things were to find out.
But I do see your point and so there's yet another pane that can be here. I have to say, this GUI is rather non-intuitive. There's nothing that says "this is the Angle Viewer / Event Viewer / 360"... You only know by removing it or adding it what it actually is.
Eg, here I have 4 panels open to the right of the Browser:
I can tell from the grid and toolbar, based on my limited experience, that the first is the Angle Viewer. And the last one is I guess always the Viewer. The other two I guess I have to infer what they are from the header saying "multicam" vs "project"? Why would/can I View > Show > Angles in the Viewer and also in the Event Viewer?
Sorry, I know it's a bunch of random questions. You don't have to answer. But I guess my takeaway here is that I think between Menubar > Window > Show In Workspace and [pick a panel] > View > Show I can control what's on my screen, so that at least gives me control over the situation even though I don't know what everything is for.
Thank you!!
