I sent message with iPhone, there’s no status. How can I know they got it?
I sent a message to my friend and it does not say anything ie: delivered/read nothing at all. What does that mean?

If your friend doesn't have an iPhone (or doesn't have iMessages turned on in an iPhone) the messages send as SMS/MMS messages and there is no status. See What is the difference between iMessage and SMS/MMS? - Apple Support
