New phone, cord but no charging cube.

I just upgraded from an iPhone 12 Pro to a 15 Pro. I was shocked when I realized that the new phone charges via a USB-C port and that Apple wasn't providing a charging cube with my new phone. I got my 12 from a trade with my daughter, so I didnt know what accessories were provided at the time that she bought that phone.

Would it financially ruin Apple, to at the very least provide an adapter; when a customer upgrades from a phone with a last generation charging port?

Two things:

  1. Apple, amongst several other smart phone makers, stopped providing power adapters with their phones. My understanding is one of their efforts to "save the planet" from waste.
  2. If you purchase an iPhone directly from Apple's online store, they tell you "What's in the box". This is where you would see that a power adapter is NOT included.
