Apps reload, rather than open where I left off on my iPhone 12 with iOS 17.4

iPhone 12 Apps keep reloading after some idle time.

So, I have a new iPhone 12 and I have updated to latest 16.2 version. The problem is that apps keep reloading most of the time. Be it Apple specific apps like App store or third party apps. Especially YT which reloads frequently and it's annoying. Suppose we're watching a video and a phone call comes, when the call is disconnected, and we open YT again to resume the video, it's all gone. YT reloads. Same scenario with most apps.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

Is there any recommendations?

PS: I have done force restart, Reset settings, Restore iphone using itunes.

The latest version of iOS is iOS 17.4.1 . Please update to this version if you can.

One other thing to review is to ensure that you have ample free storage space available on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here you will see the available storage space on your iPhone. You should maintain at least 15GB or more free storage space for the iPhone’s efficient operation.
