Google Password Prompt When in "Contacts"
How can I turn off the continuous Google password prompt when I go into Contacts? I dont see anything on the Security page that deals with this.

You must have another email account that also has contacts enabled.
That is true. The alternative is to log in to gmail.
Do you have gmail contacts on your iPhone?
Yes. Somehow, the new IOS is saving emails for people I already have in my Contacts so I get two entries for one person.
iCloud? I never use it though
No, it doesn’t. All I have are two gmail addresses
Then you also have 2 gmail accounts. And you probably have both set to sync contacts.
I do. Should I eliminate one?
If you open Contacts and tap on Lists if it isn’t showing lists already you can see the contacts in both accounts, and you can choose just one of them as your default.
Go to Settings/Contacts/Accounts, tap on the Google or gmail account, and turn off the switch for Contacts.
Thank you!!! But it says that turning off Contacts will delete all gmail contacts from my iPhone,
Does iCloud have Contacts enabled? And if you go to Settings/Contacts what is the default account set to?
