Cannot sign into Yahoo in Mail on MacBook Pro

Changed my Yahoo! but am not able to sign into my Yahoo account on my MacBook Pro. My iPhone 11 and iPad Pro are signed in, no problem. When I use the new password in Mac Mail it gives me the response "Authentication Failed. Failed to authenticate with Yahoo!, please try again later". I have been trying for two weeks with no luck. I am able to sign into Yahoo Mail in Safari but when I attempt to get an app password from them I get "Generating an app password is currently unavailable"

You didn't think that info wasn't key to put into your original thread?

Not sure why you would need to ask this question in an Apple forum when the issue lies with yahoo and their support gave you a work around.

You didn't think that info wasn't key to put into your original thread?

Not sure why you would need to ask this question in an Apple forum when the issue lies with yahoo and their support gave you a work around.
