Apple Pay Receipt going to wrong email.

I have used Apple Pay several times on my iPone 11. The receipt always goes to my work email and not to my personal address that I have designated in Settings.


I have update my personal email several times in Settings:


Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay - edit items as required under the heading "Transaction Defaults".


But, the receipts still go to my work email.

I had a similar issue. Contacted apple support and found that the old email was still in my contact card. Updated that and it fixed the issue. So you have to go to contacts and see what email is listed under your id.
