Apple Maps missing from home scree

to use Apple Maps on my iPhone 12 (up to date)I have to open it from the App Store every time. It disappeared from my Home Screen. The option to down load it only offers quick notes etc, not to Home Screen. The app does not appear in the App Library (scrolling to the far right in the Home Screen) help!

In the Apple Library, use the search bar to look for Maps. Press the app (not too long as not to display the contextual menu) and move it to your Home Screen.
